ISHANA
ISHANA is a Canadian indie artist with global potential you can sense in her performance. In 2024-2025 alone, music brought her across borders where she made a first mark in the Nashville singer-songwriter scene and collaborated with Billboard charting producer Olivier Bassil and his team, including recording academy voting members and songwriters/artists in their own right, on radio-ready singles - Ghost Rider and a second which is projected to be released in Spring 2026. Prior to her industry collaborations, she wrote and self-produced two projects - The Answers So Far, a 5-track acoustic EP, a lyrically and sonically vulnerable piece with an acoustic drive and country-pop influences (and a hint of electronica) (released summer 2025) and Coconut Cowboy (released summer 2024), an 11-track electronica-imbued album (with hints of folk).
ISHANA returned to her Canadian home-base in Dec 2025 with her latest single, Cabin in the Woods, which explores her rock and metal sensitivities and love for fiction through telling the haunting story of a love gone wrong in the most unexpected way - produced by Montreal-based producer Aidan Floyd at Floyd Studios.

The Answers So Far is a self-produced acoustic indie-pop EP released by ISHANA in summer 2025. The softer production elements hold the more vulnerable themes than previously explored by the artist. Hints of folk, country, electronic, and indie-pop shine through. Love, renewal from darkness, longing, the fun of travel and friendships, and confidence are lyrically shared in a personal and diaristic way. ISHANA finally begins to find her true sound with this work.
The Answers So Far showcases - through its' title - the way that songwriting can often be a quest for answers and clarity, or an important pit-stop on the way to internal happiness for the writer. The Answer So Far is simultaneously a reflection of the things ISHANA has explored in order to cultivate inner peace, and an offer to share those ideas about what is needed for true happiness and fulfillment, through the sharing of these personal stories, snapshots of ISHANA's life.
